Some natural skin care and cosmetics companies advertise Cocamidopropyl Betaine as Coco-Betaine. However actual Coco Betaine, which is what we use, is a natural surfactant derived from coconut and not to be confused with cocamidopropyl betaine as it is misleading you as a consumer because they are not the same.

Coco Betaine is natural and can be used in organic products. We aim to keep our products safe and natural for your use. Coco Betaine also has a neutral pH, making it a good choice for personal care products that should not affect the skin's natural pH balance and is more suitable with other ingredients. 

Cocamidopropyl Betaine (CAPB) is made via synthetic processes. Cocamidopropyl Betaine has a slightly alkaline pH, which can potentially disrupt the skin's natural pH balance. Additionally, Cocamidopropyl Betaine can sometimes interact with other ingredients, making it less suitable for use in some natural or organic personal care products

Recommend using twice weekly. This is not a daily use product as overusing charcoal may make skin less effective for conquering acne.
